Le Marais Bakery
Hi all!! It has been awhile since my last post (sorry!!), but today I am back with a super exciting review of Le Marais Bakery in San Francisco. I discovered this French bakery on a recent hangout with one of my girl friends and felt like I stepped foot in France (as if I ever been there ha). It is seriously the cutest little bakery fit for solo eaters or groups. I’ve broken down this review into separate parts for your convenience. Ready? Lets go!
We ordered the classic breakfast board which allows you to choose from either 5 or 7 different choices. You have to get the croissant! It makes the perfect bed for the smoked salmon! The display and presentation definitely made me feel like I was in a different era. Serving foods on boards is a trend that should never die!
On the side, we also ordered the cheesy onion soup. And boy was it cheesy! It was way too cheesy that even picking at the soup simply with a fork was disastrous! As for desserts, do not pass up their epic display of baked goods!
Despite popular belief, the service I experienced was great! The kind server was quite attentive and routinely asked if we were happy with our meals. I think sometimes customers who have a bad experience will immediately blame the service. So don’t be that downer to paint a bad image for everyone and just embrace the fact that even servers can have off days too.
Come here to study, grab some drinks, or go over business plans. Whatever your purpose, there will be a chair for you at Le Marais Bakery. With its huge windows and beaming white walls, there is no surprise that this spot is a creator’s paradise!
And that wraps up this (crazy short) review. Come check this spot out on your next trip to San Francisco to find your corner of France.
Thanks for reading all! (=
