I’ve always had a love for downtown, San Francisco. Despite its overcrowded streets and busy attire, its culture and history leaves me in a daze. if you ever find yourself lost in the city, I hope you make your way through the streets of Market and Stockton or squeeze your body pass popcorn stands and musicians playing dope beats on their drums (or buckets).
Every street, corner, and alley has its own vibes and thats exactly what makes SF such a dream. You can turn any building into a fantastic work of art. I especially love capturing all the holiday decorations throughout the city.
A dope spot to catch a glimpse of the city is up top the SF Moscone Center. Staring out to the tall buildings will truly make you feel larger than life.
I cannot help but find myself visiting the Yerba Buena Gardens from time to time. Come this time during the holidays and you will definitely find lights streaming all along the garden. There are so many benches to take pit stops and even a movie theater at your convenience. I like to consider this area of downtown the heart of culture and zen!!
Tired of walking? Hop on and off the cable car and enjoy yourself a nice (and maybe bumpy) ride through the city. You can check out ride details HERE (btw this is my first EVER photo with the cable car!!)
What could possibly make downtown SF more magical than it already it? Add Christmas lights! If you’re lucky enough to travel to San Francisco during the winter time, then you will surely catch yourself staring at all the lights as they bright up the night sky. Getting to experience this every year makes me so SO happy.
And that concludes my mini downtown adventure! These pictures make me feel all cozy inside and I hope they inspire you to go out and tackle the big city with bright eyes and a camera in hand.
